FIELD: armored equipment, in particular, self-propelled gun mounts.
SUBSTANCE: the self-propelled gun mount has an armored hull, self-propelled track chassis with a power plant, gun with an automatic loading mechanism, load of ammunition and an observation and fire control system. The load of ammunition is positioned in cylindrical containers, which are located on both sides of the gun barrel. The gun with the automatic loading mechanism and the containers with the load of ammunition are made detachable, the containers are provided with a mechanism for piecemeal feed of the load of ammunition to the automatic loading mechanism.
EFFECT: expanded functional potentialities of the gun mount and enhanced combat readiness of it.
