SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring time and velocity of ultrasonic vibration in the section of the concrete to be tested, making standard samples made from a high-strength concrete, determining the value of strength of concrete and velocity of ultrasonic oscillation in the standard specimens, recording the variations in velocity of ultrasonic oscillation for different intensities of the ultrasonic oscillation, plotting the value of compression strength of the standard specimens as a function of variation of velocity of ultrasonic oscillation, determining the value of maximum strength of concrete in the standard specimens by extrapolating the dependence obtained to zero velocity. The time and velocity are measured at negative temperatures of environment.
