FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has armchair, steering control, front wheel and two rear wheels. Two rear wheels are pivotally attached to frame and provided with rising drive. The drive for rising front wheel is supplied with eccentric cantilever lever. The eccentric cantilever lever allows rotation and rest on step. The rising drive is designed as parallel link leverage mechanism having support lever. When going one step upstairs, the rest lever is set to enable projecting beyond rear wheel outline in performing reciprocal motion of parallel link leverage mechanism.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in overcoming flights of stairs; retained vehicle stability and simplified design.
