FIELD: railway transport; rail vehicle brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rail freight vehicle has body, pneumatic brake system containing brake main line, standby reservoir and brake shoe control devices. Body is installed on bogies, each consisting of cast side frames resting on axle boxes installed by means of bearings on necks of wheelset axles. Conical recess engaging with pin of like shape is made on end face surface of neck of wheelset axle in axial direction. Pin is provided with thread and toothed sector on its cylindrical portion. Said thread engages with mating thread in axial hole of axle box cover, and toothed sector engages with toothed rack of pneumatic cylinder rod. Pneumatic cylinder is installed on cast side frame of bogie, and its overpiston space is connected to standby reservoir by pipeline.
EFFECT: prevention of self-movement of vehicle at no pressure in brake system and non blocks under wheels.
