FIELD: manufacture of high-voltage circuit-opening devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method used for assembling primarily double-break high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers, switches, and relays of metal-glass or metal-ceramic design form incorporating flexible or rigid contact bridge set in motion either by built-in neutral or polarized electromagnetic control system or by means of membrane (bellows) from similar electromagnetic control systems disposed in vacuum enclosure includes measurement of contact chatter time in the course of assembly upon circuit closure directly as soon as circuit is closed when supply voltage is applied across control winding, comparison of contact chatter time with reference value, and adjustment of contact pressure at each contact break in case of inadmissible deviation from this value for which purpose enclosure is displaced relative to electromagnet case about its axis and in motion plane of movable contact while measuring contact chatter time, enclosure being moved until equal contact pressure is obtained during each contact break at chatter time complying with reference value.
EFFECT: enhanced stability, operating reliability, and yield due to affording equal optimal contact pressure at each contact break in the course of device assembly.
