FIELD: manufacturing metal-glass and metal-ceramic double- and single-break vacuum switches, selector switches, and relays.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for controlling contact pressure in vacuum switches incorporating flexible and rigid contact bridge with built-in nonpolarized electromagnetic control system upon their heat treatment in vacuum and tapping involves measurement of closed contact resistance at voltage across electromagnet control winding at least 1.5-2 times lower than rated value, comparison of measurement result with resistance at same voltage across control winding of switch having optimal contact pressure, and evaluation of contact pressure deviation in switch under check from reference value.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of check results.
