FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has two bent rods. Each rod ends with two pointed pedicles to enable one to install the rod on bone. Rods are connected with shackle having tail for mounting demountable handle and enabling fixation in external fixation device. Screw and a nut are available between the rods for applying dosed compression between the pointed pedicles. The pedicles are arranged in such a manner that they are settled in rectangle apices when bringing the rods close together. Legs of each individual rod are arranged along diagonals of this rectangle.
EFFECT: prevented damages of main blood vessels and nerves when setting and removing the device; usability as independent device for fixing bone, and with external fixation device by fastening on its supporting members.
