FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in treatment of fractures and when the medullary cavity has the heterogenous body - intramedullar rod or endoprosthesis leg, the fixator of the femoral bone fragment contains the shank end for fixation to the support of the compression-distraction apparatus and the immersed part to contact with bone. The above mentioned immersed part consists in two parallel hooked lug. The lug's base is connected to the shank end so as to form the hollow rod with the internal riffle. The sharp-ended rod containing the wrench head for propping into the bone is screwed into the shank end with the help of riffle. The hooked lugs have the similar shape but different radius: the bigger radius is 10% more than the less one. Each lug has the sharp cog on the internal surface of one end.
EFFECT: stable fixation of femoral bone is provided in supracondylar area in presence of hetergenous body in it.
