FIELD: medicine, suppurative surgery.
SUBSTANCE: method involves selective isolation and catheterization of exterior carotid artery branches. Then 0.25% solution of Novocain, anticoagulant and antibiotic are administrated and after administration of coagulant furosemid is administrated for 1-2 min as a single minimal therapeutic dose and after 5-7 min of exposition antibiotic is administrated. Method provides improving results and significant anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects, and carrying out delivery of antibiotic to infectious focus, and to decrease treatment period. Invention can be used in treatment of phlegmons in maxillofacial region.
EFFECT: improved method of treatment.
