FIELD: documents protected against counterfeit with use of protection members applied or embedded into it.
SUBSTANCE: protection member is embedded into document or applied onto it in such a way that it is possible to visually identify said member at both sides of protected document. Protection member is laminate one and it includes two interference members creating color Kipp-effect, metallic reflection layer arranged between said two members and optionally diffraction structures. Color creating Kipp-effect and (or) light diffraction based optical effects may be viewed on one or both sides of protection member depending upon succession of placing said layers and optional use of diffraction structures in transparent substrate. Such protection member may be used as double-side "diving" filament, as label for transfer member placed just on hole provided in document protected against counterfeit.
EFFECT: enhanced protection degree of document against counterfeit.
