SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to multi-layered safety element, fraud-proof paper and valuable document with such safety element. The multi-layered safety element comprises a first transparent layer structure having first transparent areas with diffraction patterns and translucent metallic coating disposed on the said diffraction patterns; the second opaque layer structure with the effect of colour shift, having the second transparent areas, and the second layer structure either represents a thin-film structure that contains an opaque reflective layer and additional layers, and in which the second areas are recesses in the reflective layer, and the said additional layers of thin-film structure are located between the opaque reflective layer and the first layer structure, or it contains a layer of liquid crystal material and a dark layer, and the second areas represent recesses in the dark layer, and the said layer of liquid crystal material is located between the dark layer and the first layer structure, with the first layer structure and the second layer structure are located one above the other so that the first transparent areas of the first layer structure and the second transparent areas of the second layer structure are partly overlapped.
EFFECT: increased protection against counterfeiting.
