FIELD: mechanical engineering; air-cushion belt conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor has chute, curvilinear in cross section, for carrying run of belt, with longitudinal sealing elements, and sealing casing for return, air chamber connected with delivery branch pipe of fan or compressed air nozzles, and waste air outlet channels. Air chamber in cross section is made form of trapezium and is furnished with heaters. Longitudinal sealing elements are made of antifriction material. Upper edges of chute for carrying run of belt are bent inwards and are provided with friction supports secured on edges for return run of belt. Friction supports for return run of belt are made in from of ribs arranged at acute to longitudinal axis of conveyor. Vertex of said angle is pointed in direction of movement of return run of belt. Casing for return run of belt is secured on upper edges of said chute for carrying run of belt and is made detachable.
EFFECT: possibility of handling wet large lump rock at below zero temperatures.
