FIELD: building, particularly door frame production.

SUBSTANCE: method involves producing front panel with orifice, rear panel with orifice, side part, locking member with locking cavity and locking projection on side part thereof; arranging panels so that the panels are opposite one another and cavity is defined in-between; locating side part between the panels in through cavity defined by orifices and the cavity; forming fastening orifices in side part. Front, rear panels and side part are produced of single steel sheet. Locking extension is made as separate pressed-out members by prior cutting side part with through slot-like orifices spaced a distance equal to locking extension thickness along with following elastic permanent deforming of side part sections defined by through slot-like orifices by pressing-out thereof. Fastening orifices are formed in side part sections located between separate pressed-out members.

EFFECT: extended range of technical means for door frame production.
