FIELD: building, particularly door assemblies.

SUBSTANCE: door frame comprises case made of channel-bar member and having cavity facing inside door opening. The case comprises upper, lower and side areas. Door frame is provided with removable embedded channel members provided with flanges and wall. Case is created as bent unequal channel member. Front flange of the case is defined by lesser flange of bent unequal channel member. Rear flange of the case is created of larger flange of bent unequal channel member. Walls of upper and lower case areas are provided with supports by plastic deformation of channel member parts. Embedded members of channel member are arranged on supports so that walls thereof touch supports. Flanges thereof are located in front parts of rear and front flanges of upper and lower areas.

EFFECT: increased strength of door frame.
