FIELD: the invention refers to the field of geochemical monitoring of environment.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used for separation of plots, territories and settlements of ecological trouble on content of the uranium in the scale and also for finding the sources of coming in of the element and zones of its influence. The samples of the scale are taken for salt sediments in dishware for boiling. At that the water is taken out of land water or from the depth of the water-bearing stratum out of wells for drinking water consumption. The samples are dried up at room temperature, are scuffed to powder. The uranium content is determined. The received meanings are brought out on the map of the explored territory. Contours are built. The polluted plots are selected according to meanings prevailing over the background.

EFFECT: increases efficiency and reliability of studies.
