FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: water is sampled from water intake wells. Using alpha-spectrometer method the value γ of the relation of alpha activities of isotopes of uranium-234 and uranium-238 (234U/238U=γ) is determined. Isolines for the value γ are drawn by the area and section of the water bearing horizon. Using anomalies on maps in a horizontal plane and dome configuration of isolines of the value γ in a vertical plane within the water bearing horizon the centers of accumulation of deep waters are identified. The configuration of boundaries of the area of distribution of deep waters is determined. Then using the maximum values of the value γ the zones of accumulation of deep waters within the water bearing horizon are determined. The value of change of dynamic level ΔH of underground waters within these areas with reference to the average level for the studied area is determined. In case of positive value of the value ΔH an additional replenishment of reserves of underground waters in the operated horizon due to inflow of deep waters is obvious; In case of negative value of ΔH - exceeding of total water intake above total resources of purely formation and deep waters and insufficient provisioning of water intake facilities even with total resources of purely formation and deep waters is obvious; at ΔH=0 - replenishment of deficiency of resources of purely formation waters due to additional accumulation of deep waters is obvious.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency and geological informativity regarding the results of determination of the level of provisioning of water bearing horizons with underground water resources in conditions of additional inflow of deep waters, not taken into account by hydro-geological methods, minimising of labour input of operations.
