FIELD: ceramic industry; manufacture of linings for units and casting equipment for metallurgy of aluminum alloys.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preparation of molding mass by simultaneous wet grinding of concentrate of natural wollastonite in the amount of 70-80%, kaolin in the amount of 10-20% and clay in the amount of 5-10% at addition of water in the amount of 27-32% of mass of dry components, water glass and soda ash as stabilizers to fineness of grinding at residue of 5-23% on sieve 0063. Items are molded by slip casting method in porous molds. Items are burnt at temperature of 950-1000°C for 1-3 h. Proposed method enhances strength and thermal and chemical resistance to aluminum alloys at temperatures up to 1000C.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure of manufacture of complex items; enhanced strength, thermal and chemical resistance to aluminum alloys.
