MODE OF DETECTION OF A GROUP TARGET Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01S13/04 G01S13/52 G01S13/56

Abstract RU 2298806 C9

FIELD: the invention refers to radiolocation and may be used in airborne, surface and shipboard radar stations.

SUBSTANCE: the technical result is in increasing possibility of detection a group target whose signals are not resolvable on distance, speed and angular coordinates. For this they separate quadrature components of an enveloping line of the received signal, in each quadrature component transformation of the signal into a digital form is executed, in the limits of an interval equal to the duration of a sounding impulse summing of digital readings are carried out, the results received in the summing of N readings are subjected to an amplitude weighing , the filter processing on the algorithm of N- dot Fourier rapid transformation is executed, a module of a complex enveloping line of the signal is calculated at the output of Doppler filters of Fourier rapid transformation, in the distance strobe many adjacent Doppler filters are selected, the first Doppler frequency of the mentioned adjacent Doppler filters is determined as a frequency of the filter with maximum amplitude of the signal. At that the coefficient of weakening of the amplitude of the signal on strobes is defined for all distance strobes, quadrature components of tension are found out, the amplitude of tension is received, the received amplitude of tension is compared with the threshold of detection, decision about detection of a group target is taken in case of exceeding the threshold at least in one distance strobe.

EFFECT: increases possibility of detection of a group target.
