FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: combined sowing unit has tractor, seed and fertilizer hopper equipped with seeding units, seed guides, and covering members, with all mentioned parts of combined sowing unit being positioned within space defined between tractor wheels. Tractor front wheel tire treads provided with annular lugs are used as shanks. Tractor rear wheels are used as covering rollers. Surface of each tire is defined by rotation of outer branch of conchoid of Nicomedes. Rim of each wheel carrying casing and tire is made in the form of hollow body defined by rotation of inner branch of conchoid of Nicomedes around the same roller axis of wheel. Equation of conchoid of Nicomedes in polar coordinate system is formed as ρ=a/cosφ₁+l, where ρ is polar radius; a is distance from conchoid pole to its base; φ₁ is angle of rotation of polar radius within from φ₀ to φ₀+2π; l is conchoid parameter.

EFFECT: increased yield of spiked cereals and reduced specific loading of soil during sowing process.
