METHOD FOR PREDICTING AND CORRECTING THE TREATMENT OF FUNCTIONAL PHONIC DISORDERS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B5/452 A61K31/551 A61H39/08 A61P25/20

Abstract RU 2299009 C2

FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology, phoniatrics.

SUBSTANCE: one should collect anamnesis, detect functional dysphonias and carry out medicinal therapy, physiotherapy and phonopedic gymnastics. Moreover, one should additionally carry out a spectral analysis for variability of cardiac rhythm, detect very-low frequency fluctuations (VLF) and calculate spectral power density (SPD). While calculating 1 point corresponds to SPD International Unit being equal to 1 s/Hz·100. At obtained SPD VLF value being below 30 points one should predict unfavorable conditions for reconstructing the voice and possibility for the relapse of the disease in future, and to medicinal therapy it is necessary to add preparations that improve metabolic processes at cellular level and as sedative therapy it is important to prescribe grandaxin or persen. At SPD VLF values ranged 30-130 points one should predict favorable conditions for phonic reconstruction and therapy should not be changed. At SPD VLF values being above 130 points one should predict favorable conditions for phonic reconstruction and prescribe sedative preparations and acupuncture therapy according to breaking technique. The innovation widens the number of means for predicting and correcting the treatment of functional phonic disorders.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction and correction.
