FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optimization of combustion of liquid hydrocarbon fuels designed for use in internal combustion engines (carburetor, diesel, rotary-plunger and the like types), which is achieved by adding additives in the form of naturally occurring and synthetic organics, in particular fullerene derivatives, to fuel. Method of invention is accomplished by adding pure carbon dissolved on organic solvents in concentrations 0.01 to 0.1% by weight. Pure carbon solution is additionally mixed with speedup additive at 1:1 volume ratio and this mixture is supplemented by aluminum alloy oxidation inhibitor in amount 0.007-0.008% by weight.
EFFECT: achieved optimized combustion regime.
