FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly fish passes permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish pass comprises fish-passing canal made as gutter and connecting upper and lower hydrosystem pools and roughed members made as blocks crossing water stream. The roughed members create longitudinal rows along fish-passing canal. Blocks in adjacent rows are shifted one from another to create swimming-in orifices in-between and fish' rest area defined by adjacent inclined edges of neighboring roughed members in longitudinal row. Fish-passing canal bottom is covered with gravel-and-pebble envelope. Longitudinal section of blocks is shaped as sinusoidal curve. Outer block surfaces form alternating depressions and projections, which simulate reaches and rifts of river bed. Front end of upstream block and rear end of downstream block are connected with each other and form continuous outer surface of roughed members. Gravel-and-pebble envelope is made in discrete points over full reaches and rifts area. Fish-passing canal bottom is inclined towards lower pool.
EFFECT: possibility to create conditions for efficient excessive kinetic energy damping and to form rest areas.
