FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes adapted to permit fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish pass comprises waterway made as channel with head part connected to upper pool of hydrosystem and mouth part connected to lower pool thereof, hatchery substrate, namely gravel-pebble fill laid on channel bottom and slopes, main roughness members installed on channel bottom and distributed along channel length and additional roughness members arranged on channel bottom between the main ones. Additional roughness members are made as flexible elastic shells connected to supply air lines, distribution manifold and compressor. Flexible elastic shells are arranged inside rigid case shaped as flat parallelepiped and provided with perforation orifice rows formed in upper surface thereof.
EFFECT: increased ability of excessive kinetic energy reduction due to possibility of channel bottom roughness control depending on flow rate change.
