FIELD: development geophysics, namely, complex geo.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, wells are drilled. Coal core is extracted. Methane-bearing capacity of aforementioned core is evaluated. Methane-bearing capacity of formation is evaluated on basis of complex of geological signs determined by means of performed geophysical research, representing dynamically and in isomorphic manner the indicating set of factors, having determined gas-bearing capacity of coal formation during geological evolution. Isomorphic image of a set of geological processes is performed via geological characteristics of cut determined on basis of data of geophysical method, formalized in form of determined time sequence of events for group of formations, carrying information about prehistory and post-history of coal formation creation. Given signs are compared to results of detection of methane-bearing capacity based on core. Determined ratios are expanded across whole area of deposit for predicting methane-bearing capacity on basis of geophysical research for other available wells, and gas-bearing capacity prediction problem is solved.
EFFECT: increased trustworthiness of estimation.
