FIELD: quantum electronics; laser mechanical design.
SUBSTANCE: proposed laser resonator has supporting structure and bearing structure that mounts mirrors and is provided with two fastening devices for attachment to supporting structure. One of fastening devices is cardan joint affording fixation of bearing structure at one point relative to supporting structure and preventing transfer of inadmissible bending moments to bearing structure. Other fastening device affords definite angular position of bearing structure relative to supporting structure without interfering with displacement of bearing-structure points along axis crossing center of cardan joint and without transferring inadmissible bending moments to bearing structure. Other fastening device can be made in the form of structure elastically strained along axis crossing center of cardan joint or in the form of levers each of them lying in plain perpendicular to axis crossing center of cardan joint.
EFFECT: enhanced resistance of laser optical resonator to vibrations, shocks, and heat.
