FIELD: various sciences. SUBSTANCE: ionized gas laser has active element with anode and cathode mounted on supports and placed in solenoid, bass-mounted optical resonator with tubular guides joined together by means of L-shaped flanges, and cooling system. Novelty is that active element is base-mounted on cathode side with base made in the form of relatively perpendicular springs attached to L-shaped flange on one end and to arch-shaped holder placed about active element, on other end; mounted opposite to springs are relatively perpendicular screw stops each having spherical head entering spherical recess made in supporting area of stop; on anode side; active element is mounted on support made in the form of circular insert with spherical external generating line and provided with opposing slot and sector notch; it embraces insert of prismatic clamp mounted on guides of optical resonator by means of insulating bracket in parallel to base; resonator guides function as piping of laser cooling system. Radius of external generating line sphere of insert is equal to distance between cathode and anode supports. EFFECT: improved power stability and mechanical strength.
