FIELD: agricultural and forest engineering.

SUBSTANCE: working tool has horizontal hollow cylinder and hole making members designed for pressing seeds into soils. Cylinder with hub positioned inside it is composed of two telescopically connected parts. Each part of cylinder has side with pins and shell mounted thereon. Hole making members are fixed to shell. Side of one cylinder part is connected to hub. Side of other cylinder part is mounted on bushing positioned on hub for displacement along and around it for alteration relative arrangement of hole making members fixed on adjacent shells. Each of said shells is made in the form of rim with ring perpendicularly welded therein and provided with a number of openings for attachment to cylinder sides. A number of openings are formed circumferentially of shells for uniform location and attachment therein of hole making members by means of pins welded to hole making member bases and nuts positioned at inner side of shells. Hole making members fixed on adjacent shells are adapted for positioning one opposite another or in circumferentially offset relation with respect to one another, and also for altering distance between rows of hole making members. Hole making members fixed on adjacent shells are located in circumferentially offset staggered arrangement.

EFFECT: improved quality of seed embedding and, accordingly, provision for producing of good young crop, enhanced growth and development of plants.
