FIELD: welding equipment, namely apparatus for gas-oxygen cutting of metallic structures.

SUBSTANCE: cutting apparatus includes head to which outer and inner mouths are secured along the same axis; mixer; body with unions for supplying heating and cutting oxygen and gas fuel. Said unions are provided with valves for regulating pressure of heating oxygen and of gas fuel and with unit for regulating pressure of cutting oxygen. Cutting apparatus also includes tubes for feeding cutting and heating oxygen and gas fuel. Mixer is arranged in head; it is in the form of cylindrical injection cavity having two inlets and outlet. Orifice arranged over mixer and coaxial with it is formed in head. Opening for supplying heating oxygen is communicated with one inlet of injection cavity through said orifice. Opening for supplying gas fuel is communicated with other inlet of injection cavity. Diameter of orifice is less than diameter of injection cavity by 2.16 - 2.4 times and it is less than diameter of opening for supplying gas fuel by 2.5 - 3 times. Annular gap having inlet cylindrical portion and outlet portion in the form of nozzle is formed between mouths. Cross section area of outlet portion of annular gap is more than orifice cross section area by 4.5 - 5.7 times. Total length of axial lengths of injection cavity and annular gap exceeds diameter of orifice by 30 - 60 times.

EFFECT: improved operational reliability, increased useful life period, high cutting speed, improved quality of mixed fuel.
