FIELD: mechanical engineering; recycling.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tire recycling complex production line for preliminarily frozen automobile, factor, aircraft and other tires and similar large-size articles of fairly brittle synthetic, concrete and stone-like materials is designed for obtaining fine or coarse grained "matrices" in form of vulcanized rubber or crushed stone and practically in destructed cord or steel reinforcement. As recycling of tires and, for instance, light-weight concrete wall panels of demounted large-size panel old houses is not an easy task, and number of "self-propelled vehicles" rises steadily in all countries of the world, said problem becomes "world problem" in the last century getting on wheels of "self-propelled vehicles" into new millennium. However, for the sake of objectivity, it should be mentioned that bright minds exist who propose freeze the tires to change vulcanized rubber from elastoviscous state into relatively brittle state with subsequent grinding at considerable decrease of power consumption, but owing to inertia of human thinking and economy with a view of capital outlays "masters of the world" are not in a hurry to make the humankind happy preferring to keep money in foreign banks. That is why, for instance, Volzhsky tire recycling plant has vast store of tires outside the territory of the plant and it uses "tire cutting process" at installed power of multiple and expensive equipment exceeding 1000 kW at immense power consumption, and its tire store increases from year to year. It should be noted metropolitan Close Joint Stock Company "ECOSHINA" also recycles tires by cutting at much the same power consumption as Volzsky plant and it "survives" only due to effective production of polyethylene rubber panels which are in great demand. It should be mentioned however, that INTERNET and mass media provide miserly information on "pathfinders" using cryogenic technology in tire recycling with slow-speed and low-capacity hydraulic presses requiring oil pumping stations at installed power from 50 kW and higher which are expensive and rather in short in out time. To solve said "global" problem in consideration of which 1 have deeply involved for years, it is proposed to organize in megapolises and small towns small enterprises equipment with complex production lines for tire recycling with use of new physical and chemical technology with preliminarily freezing of tires and subsequent grinding of vulcanized rubber by gas explosion method without breaking of cord and with separate reclamation.
EFFECT: reduced cost of tire recycling.
