FIELD: waste processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing secondary polymeric materials wherein thermoplastic wastes are preliminarily treated for 1 to 4 h with liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide at 15 to 200° C and pressure 60 to 600 atm. Waste is chiefly used in the form of granules or chips, or yet in the form of small profiled objects. Decolorized waste can be used for further processing via injection molding, rolling, pressing, or introduction thereof into composite materials.
EFFECT: improved environmental conditions and avoided stage wherein waste is sorted according to color.
