FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of removable ink for printing and a method for removal thereof from paper or other media using supercritical, liquid or dense gaseous carbon dioxide under pressure. Removable ink contains soluble in CO2 at pressure of 40–120 atm and temperature of 20–90 °C polymer base. In addition, the ink contains either dyes which are soluble in such CO2 under pressure, or dyes and/or pigments which are not soluble therein, but which are cross-linked by a cross-linking agent with a polymer base which is soluble in such CO2 under pressure. Method of removing ink involves placing paper or other carrier with the above inks applied into a high-pressure flow reactor with CO2 equipped with a heating circuit, at pressure of 40–120 atm and temperature of 20–90 °C.

EFFECT: providing fast and non-damaging media removal of ink from printed paper and other media for direct reuse of ink and cleaned paper or other media for printing.
