SUBSTANCE: covering panel has groove formed along at least one edge or end surface thereof and ridge extending along another edge or end surface of the panel. Groove and ridge sections mate each other so that the panels may be connected by inserting ridges into grooves. At least one glue bead is applied on at least one surface of the ridge or the groove wall. At least one recess to receive glue bead after panel connection is made in ridge surface facing groove surface provided with glue bead or/and in groove bottom or in groove surface facing ridge surface provided with glue bead.
EFFECT: increased floor covering hardness.
