SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a unit for manufacturing one-sided corrugated cardboard. The method of connection of substantially flat sheet material with corrugated sheet material using an automatic process comprises the following steps: a) applying the adhesive as substantially discrete equal portions to the contact points of the corrugated sheet material by the roller having a shaped outer surface in the form of corrugations, and b) holding the sheet materials pressed together to form the connection between them.

EFFECT: proposed invention provides cost reduction of the manufacturing process of corrugated cardboard and improves the quality of bonding the sheet material.
