FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas turbines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed construction for separation of high-and low-pressure turbo expanders in gas turbine contains diaphragm, pair of formed plates and sealing ring. Diaphragm is installed coaxially after stator channel between stage of high-pressure turbo expander and first stage of low-pressure turbo expander to direct flows of cooling air to hot sections of high-and low-pressure turbo expanders. Formed plates are secured on diaphragm and they form clearance into which cooling air is force-fed. Sealing ring rests of formed plates and it isolates high-pressure turbo expanders from low-pressure turbo expander and takes and distributes cooling air flowing from clearance.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision of effective cooling.
