SUBSTANCE: method comprises removing nitrogen from the natural gas by means of a molecular grate whose mesh size ranges from 3.5 to 4.0 Å, using at least a portion of the natural gas as a coolant in the methane economizer, and compressing it downstream of the molecular grate. The device comprises system for preliminary treatment, system for removing nitrogen mounted downstream of the system for preliminary treatment, ethylene cooling apparatus mounted downstream of the propane cooling apparatus, and system with unclosed methane cycle mounted downstream of the ethylene cooling apparatus.
