FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry; it can be used to liquefy raw flow of natural gas. The raw flow of natural gas is liquefied by indirect heat exchange with a gaseous methane or natural gas refrigerant circulating in the gas expansion cycle to obtain the first liquefied natural gas (hereinafter – LNG) flow. The first LNG flow expands, and the formed steam and liquid phases are separated to obtain the first throttle gas flow and the second LNG flow. Then the second LNG flow expands, wherein the formed steam and liquid phases are separated to form the second throttle gas flow and the third LNG flow, which the whole or part of it forms LNG product. The cold is taken from the second throttle gas using the specified flow to supercool the second LNG flow or additional LNG flow.
EFFECT: an increase in the efficiency of liquefaction and a reduction in the size of the equipment.
