FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of inspection of light fluxes of transportation vehicle is based upon orientation of motion of its running gear at straight direction; projection of centers of lens of headlights clockwise and removal of mismatch of factual and reference directions of light fluxes. Orientation of motion of running gear of transportation vehicle is performed along axial line and along check band, which are both applied in parallel to each other onto area preliminary. Centers of lenses of headlights are projected onto vertical screen; projection unit marks and measures screen by beams; the beams are oriented along axial line of area and are fixed in centers of lenses of headlights. Motion of running gear is controlled along check band. Device for checking light fluxes of transportation vehicles has projection unit. It is also provided with motion trajectory cam of running gear of transportation vehicle. Cam is connected with case of transportation vehicle and hinges connect it with magnetic plate made in form of telescopic tube provided with laser source. Beam of laser source is directed in vertical onto marking of check band; trace of beam should stay in field of vision of driver. Projection unit is made in form of support provided with screw supports and foldable-sectioned post. Lateral band with right- and left-sided erectors is fixed symmetrically onto top section of post. Erectors move along horizontal line. Laser sources are mounted at ends of horizontal line; laser sources are directed pairwise in opposite directions along direction of motion. Foldable-sectioned post is provided with counterweight.
EFFECT: improved precision of light fluxes; higher productivity; simplified technology; ability of working with special purpose transportation vehicles; ability of keeping control during motion.
