FIELD: wood-working industry, in particular, joining of firewood blanks.
SUBSTANCE: the method consists in production of wedged tenons on butts of the joined wood components, application of glue on the surfaces to be joined, joining of the components with a subsequent pressing of them and seasoning. The wedged tenons differ in height and pitch so that the envelope of the tops of the tenons would be curvilinear, the shape of the envelope is selected depending on the wood texture.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of qualitative wood, enhanced quality of the obtained members.
