FIELD: shipbuilding; ships for transportation of compressed natural gas.

SUBSTANCE: according to first version, ship has main shipboard gas pipe line for connection with pipe lines of shore or sea terminal and hermetic compartments for storage of compressed gas; each hermetic compartment is provided with gas reservoir made in form of stack of pipes of similar diameter which are located at angle to level and are connected by means of common collector for charging and discharging the compressed gas on ascending end and with common collector for accumulation of condensate on descending end; compartments are also provided with tanks for accumulated condensate. Shipboard hermetic compartments are connected with source of cold by means of pipelines through system of valves, compressor and heat exchanger. Similar collectors of gas reservoirs and shipboard hermetic compartments are interconnected through systems of valves by means of respective pipe lines. Pipe line of hermetic compartments and pipe line of compressed gas charging and discharging collectors are connected to main shipboard gas pipe line through system of valves. Pipe line of condensate accumulation collectors may be connected to accumulated condensate tank. According to second version, ship is provided with stack of pipes of different diameters.

EFFECT: improved quality of gas carried by ship.
