FIELD: methods and devices for filling the spacecraft temperature control systems with liquid heat-transfer agent.
SUBSTANCE: temperature control system is filled with liquid heat-transfer agent under excessive pressure; after system has been filled with liquid heat-transfer agent, it is disconnected from filling tank. Then, pressure in filling tank is changed and volume of heat-transfer agent contained in it is measured. Volume of undissolved gas contained in liquid Min of temperature control system is determined by difference of volumes of heat-transfer agent. Device proposed for realization of this method has pump and drainage and filling tanks which are connected with vacuum unit and with compressed gas source by means of mains fitted with valves and pressure recorders. Pump is mounted in filling main which connects the pipe union of temperature control system liquid main with lower part of filling tank through disconnecting valve. Lower part of filling tank is brought into communication via valve with lower part of measuring tube of filling tank level indicator. Filling main in section between liquid main pipe union and disconnecting valve is brought in communication with lower part of measuring tube of said level indicator via equalizing main fitted with valve. Lower part of measuring tube of filling tank level indicator via drainage main fitted with valve.
EFFECT: improved quality of filling; extended range of application; enhanced accuracy of determination of volume of drained compensating dose of heat-transfer agent.
