FIELD: road building; paving compactors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed controller includes fluid medium source and fluid medium supply line with inlet hole communicating with source and outlet pole to direct fluid medium to compacting roller. Controller includes regulator to regulate flow rate of fluid medium through outlet hole. Speed sensor connected with paving compactor measures speed of compactor. Moreover, logic circuit connected with speed sensor and regulator automatically sets regulator into action to provide flow rate mainly proportional to speed of paving compactor. In alternative version, logic circuit permits flow through outlet hole during preliminary preset travel of roller and alternately interrupts flow within preset period of time. Regulator is either shunting line and valve regulating flow through shunting line to control flow through said outlet hole, or regulator of pump to control flow from pump is delivery line.
EFFECT: improved compacting of soil.
