FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ICE pre-cleaners. Claimed system comprises the components that follow. The housing to enclose the pump, cylindrical mixing chamber with two inlets and one outlet. Note here that said outlet is communicated with the transfer line. The first inlet is communicated with fluid flow for diesel exhaust flow (DEF) to receive the DEF flow from the pump. The second inlet is communicated with airflow downstream of the pump. Note here that the DEF flow and airflow intersect at the divergence angle to get the mixed DEF flow and airflow transmitted from the mixing chamber to the transfer line. The nozzle is arranged downstream of the transfer line and communicated with the ICE exhaust flow. Note here that the nozzle feeds the mixed DEF and airflow into said exhaust flow. Claimed process comprises the steps that follow. The fluid is forced for the DEF into the mixing chamber. The airflow is forced into the mixing chamber at the divergence angle relative to the DEF. Output flow is forced from the mixing chamber to the nozzle communicated with the ICE exhaust flow. Note here that airflow feed comprises the feed of airflow at the rate at the mixing chamber inlet of at least 47 m/s. Claimed device comprises the components that follow. The housing to enclose the pump, cylindrical mixing chamber with two inlets and one outlet. Note also that the discharge hole can be communicated with the transfer line extending from the housing. The first inlet can be communicated with the DEF flow and can receive the latter from the pump. The second inlet is communicated with airflow downstream of the pump. The nozzle is arranged downstream of the transfer line to receive the mixed DEF and airflow from the mixing chamber via the transfer line. Note that the second inlet includes the 5mm-long jet. The latter and the first inlet extending into the mixing chamber at the divergence angle to produce the DEF and airflow in the mixing chamber.
