FIELD: well drilling equipment, particularly submersible drilling devices provided with fluid power drive for rotary-percussion well drilling to be used in geological survey, hydrogeology and mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: submersible hydraulic hammer comprises shell arranged in the body, stepped percussion means with head, which divides shell interior into straight and reverse stroke chambers and distribution system with stepped supply-and-discharge valve arranged on rod. The stepped supply-and-discharge valve defines end supply slot along with the shell and creates discharge channel along with the rod. Working areas Sst and Sre of percussion means from straight and reverse stroke chamber sides, area Scl of upper supply-and-discharge valve end and discharge channel area Sdis obey predetermined relations.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability due to increased stability of device operation in wide pressure range due to prevention of untimely supply-and-discharge valve activation.
