FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: cock comprises hollow housing provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes, gate valve shaped into a truncated cone and provided with through passage, and control rod. The top side of the rod is provided with the control lever for permitting rotation around the axis perpendicular to one of its positions. The housing is made of two separated members. The fixed member is mounted in the main pipeline of the air distributor and has inlet and outlet connecting pipes separated by a baffle. The detachable member is secured to the fixed member by means of sealing spacer and has control lever and truncated conical gate valve. The truncated conical gate valve is provided with a through opening. The outlet of the through opening is positioned in the greater base of the cone. The atmospheric opening is positioned from the opposite side of the outlet opening and is directed toward the control lever. The control lever can rotate by an angle of 180° from the open position to the closed position.
