SUBSTANCE: shut-off assembly of the rolling stock air main line comprises a rotary ball plug tightly resting upon opposite seal rings and couples with the manual drive. The said ball plug features a through channel. The shut-off assembly represents a detachable casing with a bypass channel with its inlet mouth communicating with the inlet channel outlet, while its outlet mouth communicates with the outlet channel outlet. The rotary ball plug is fitted inside the said detachable casing. In compliance with the first version, the bypass channel inlet mouth accommodates the ball plug inner threaded circular support. In compliance with the second version, the ball plug outer threaded support can incorporate one of seal rings. In compliance with the third version, the shut-off assembly comprises a rotary spring-loaded tapered plug linked up with the manual drive and tightly ground to the casing. The said plug has through channel and through bore. The rotary tapered plug through channel features curvilinear section.
