FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: ring plate heat exchanger comprises ring plate matrix with branch pipes for supplying and discharging air to the openings of distributing and collecting units, chamber for supplying and discharging gas flow, and tension members. The tension members are made of plates secured to the front and back sides of the chamber for supplying gas flow and cylindrical rods with members for control of loading of compression of the matrix set outside of the matrix. The opening of the distributing and collecting units are covered with lids from the side opposite to the supplying and discharging branch pipes. The back side of the chamber for supplying gas is strengthened by means of the ring shaped into a tore. The tore receives the air through the pipe from the distributing unit of the matrix. The cone secured to the back side directs gas flow to the matrix.
EFFECT: enhanced strength and reduced mass.
