FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: there is proposed header plate-type heat exchanger containing heat exchange matrix in the form of a pack of corrugated plates with flanged external edges, headers and pressure plates. Matrix and headers are made in the form of separate assemblies. Front surfaces of inlet and outlet and heat carriers of matrix are located along the perimetre of the plate. Flanges close valves of the appropriate heat carrier except channels in heat carrier supply and discharge sections. Pressure plates are added with front plates to which headers are attached. One of heat carries (for example of high density) is supplied and discharged from matrix via holes made in front plates. One of header walls is located parallel and attached to front plate, and the second wall is parallel to it or at an angle during arrangement of annular heat exchanger.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency of heat exchanger, use of individual heat exchanger or block of heat exchangers in the form of a ring.
