SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that after calculation of the fire settings in the gun azimuth angle, elevation angle and homing head orientation angle up to their realization on the gun on the firing position modeling of the missile flight, comparison of values a(x) and b(x) and generation of the clearance of gun fire at exceeding of a(x) over b(x) arte performed. At b(X)≥a(X) adjustment of the fire settings in the gun elevation angle and homing head orientation angle is performed directly proportional to the gear ratios of K1 and K2 of the missile model and of the difference of b(X') and a(X'). A(x) - the height of the extreme lower trajectory of the missile flight model with due regard for the dispersion at calculated fire settings for horizontal range X from the gun, b(x) - the height of the terrain profile according to the data of the electronic chart for horizontal range x from the gun, X'- the value of horizontal range x at which the value of the difference of a(x) and b(x) would be minimum. K1, K2 - gear ratios of the missile model at range X' for the gun elevation angle and homing head orientation angle respectively.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fire at targets in the mountain conditions.
