FIELD: arms and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises determining target coordinates by target designator and transmitting them to fire commander control board. The latter computes fire settings for target and artillery piece to be transmitted to the latter and guided projectile. Commander control board communicates, via digital radio communication channel with artillery piece control terminal. Artillery piece position coordinates can be determined with the help of artillery piece control terminal satellite navigation hardware. Electronic hardware memory allows readout of settings input into projectiles and their comparison with transmitted values.
EFFECT: reduced control interval and expanded control functions.
