FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has femoral head and irregular pin. The pin is manufactured as carcass covered by a hardened layer of bone cement containing drug. The carcass has bearing member manufactured from two rods one of which is supporting one and the other is cervical connected by means of collar and fastening means. The collar has holes having longitudinal vertical axis for receiving the supporting rod and inclined axis for cervical rod. The hole size for receiving cervical rod exceeds cervical rod thickness to allow one to vary cervicodiaphyseal angle. Additional wire carcass is wound around the rods. At least one of rods is tubular and has perforated walls. Removable container filled with medical preparation is placed in rod cavity.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; controlled pedicle length.
